JNU violence: Protesters moved from Gateway

Hundreds of people, including students, women and senior citizens - who assembled at the iconic Gateway of India since Sunday midnight were protesting against violence in JNU. On Tuesday morning, police appealed the protesters to shift and then evicted Gateway of India to "relocate" the crowd to Azad Maidan. Officials said it was done to open the blocked roads.
