कोलकाता: भारताचा माजी क्रिकेटपटू आणि हे दोघे क्रिकेट सल्लागार समितीत (सीएसी) पुनरागमन करण्याच्या तयारीत आहेत. आज (शनिवार) ही समिती स्थापन केली जाणार आहे. लाभाचे पद भूषवल्याच्या आरोपानंतर दोघांनीही आपली पदे सोडली होती. सचिन आणि लक्ष्मण समितीत परत येणार असल्याची ही माहिती बीसीसीआयच्या एका वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्याने दिली. सचिन आणि लक्ष्मण जुलै महिन्यात समितीपासून दूर झाले होते. बीसीसीआयचे विद्यमान अध्यक्ष सौरभ गांगुली त्यावेळी सीएसीचे तिसरे सदस्य होते. त्यानंतर गांगुली यांनीही आपल्या पदाचा राजीनामा दिला होता. त्यानंतर त्यांना पुढील प्रशिक्षक निवडण्याची जबाबदारी सोपविण्यात आली होती. सचिन आणि लक्ष्मण समितीत नक्कीच परत येतील अशी माहिती नाव न सांगण्याच्या अटीवर बीसीसीआयच्या एका वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्याने सांगितले. गांगुली यांच्या नेतृत्वात रविवारी मुंबईत मंडळाची ८८ वी वार्षिक सर्वसाधारण सभा (एजीएम) होणार आहे. तर शिखर परिषदेची बैठकही शनिवारी होत असल्याची माहिती बीसीसीआयच्या एका वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्याने सांगितले. सूत्रांनी याबबात दिलेल्या अधिक माहितीनुसार, समितीची स्थापना शिखर परिषदेच्या बैठकीत होणार आहे. सीएसी निवड समितीशीही चर्चा करेल. बीसीसीआयचे लोकपाल डी. के. जैन यांनी लाभाचे पद भूषविल्याची तक्रार नोंदवल्यानंतर सचिन, लक्ष्मण आणि गांगुली यांची समिती वादाच्या भोवऱ्यात सापडली होती.

राहुल द्रविड IPLमधील 'या' गोष्टीवर नाराज
लखनऊ: टीम इंडियाचा माजी दिग्गज फलंदाज आणि राष्ट्रीय अकादमीचा संचालक यानं आयपीएलमध्ये भारतीय प्रशिक्षकांना पुरेशी संधी मिळत नाही असं सांगत तीव्र नाराजी व्यक्त केली आहे. भारतीय प्रशिक्षकांना 'सपोर्ट स्टाफ'मध्ये न घेऊन संघ चूक करत आहेत, असं त्यानं स्पष्टपणे सांगितलं. भारतीय प्रशिक्षक काही कमी नाहीत, असंही तो म्हणाला. राहुल द्रविड हा लखनऊमध्ये १९ वर्षांखालील भारत आणि अफगाणिस्तान यांच्यातील एकदिवसीय मालिका पाहण्यासाठी आला आहे. त्यावेळी त्यानं आयपीएलविषयी मत व्यक्त केलं. आयपीएलमध्ये भारतीय प्रशिक्षकांना फारशी संधी दिली जात नसल्याबद्दल माजी कर्णधार आणि राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट अकादमीचा संचालक असलेल्या द्रविडनं तीव्र नाराजी व्यक्त केली आहे. आपल्याकडेही काही उत्तम प्रशिक्षक आहेत असं मला वाटतं. त्यांच्या क्षमतेवर आम्हाला पूर्ण विश्वास आहे. आपलं क्रिकेट आणि प्रशिक्षक प्रतिभासंपन्न आहेत, असं द्रविड म्हणाला. आपल्या प्रशिक्षकांचा आत्मविश्वास वाढवण्याची नितांत गरज आहे. आपल्या प्रशिक्षकांना आयपीएलमध्ये सहायक प्रशिक्षक म्हणून काम करण्याची संधी दिली जात नाही याचं मला वाईट वाटतं, असंही तो म्हणाला. ' स्पर्धेत भारतीय खेळाडू मोठ्या संख्येनं खेळतात. स्थानिक प्रशिक्षक असल्याचा फायदा त्यांना होतो. त्यांना भारतीय खेळाडूंमधील क्षमता माहीत आहे,' असंही त्यानं सांगितलं. राहुल द्रविड यानं वयचोरी, मैदानातील माळ्यांची मेहनत, कार्यालयीन क्रिकेट, रणजी स्पर्धा, कसोटींचे महत्त्व अशा अनेक मुद्यांवर कायम स्पष्ट भूमिका मांडली आहे. नुकत्याच झालेल्या डे-नाइट कसोटी सामन्याविषयीही त्यानं भाष्य केलं होतं. ‘डे-नाइट कसोटीचे आयोजन प्रेक्षकांना पुन्हा स्टेडियममध्ये खेचून आणेलच; पण कसोटी क्रिकेटला संजीवनी देण्यासाठी, कसोटीचा प्रेक्षक वाढवण्यासाठी इतर मुद्यांवरही सुधारणा अपेक्षित आहे’, असं सूचक विधान त्यानं केलं होतं. ‘कसोटी क्रिकेटच्या संजीवनीसाठी डे नाइट कसोटींचे आयोजन हा एकमेव तोडगा नाही. तसेही आपण दवाच्या परिणामांवर नियंत्रण मिळवू शकलो तर डे नाइट कसोटी वर्षांत एकदा, दोनदा नक्की आयोजित करता येईल. दवामुळे चेंडू ओलसर होतो, ज्यामुळे गोलंदाजांची कसोटी लागते. अशा परिस्थितीत चेंडू स्विंगही करता येत नाही. ही डे नाइट कसोटीतील आव्हाने आहेत’, याकडेही त्यानं लक्ष वेधलं होतं.

कोलकाता : ऐतिहासिक डे-नाईट कसोटीत बांगलादेशची चांगलीच दैना झाली आहे. कोलकात्यातील ईडन गार्डन्समध्ये कसोटी मालिकेतील दुसरा आणि अखेरचा सामना पिंक बॉलने खेळवला जात आहे. बांगलादेशने नाणेफेक जिंकून फलंदाजीचा निर्णय घेतला. पण हा निर्णय फलंदाजांनी चुकीचा ठरवला. कारण, बांगलादेशचा संघ केवळ १०६ धावातच गारद झाला. भारताकडून इशांत शर्माने सर्वाधिक ५ विकेट्स घेतल्या. त्याखालोखाल उमेश यादव ३ आणि मोहम्मद शमीनेही २ फलंदाजांना माघारी पाठवलं. या कसोटीत भारत पुन्हा एकदा इतिहासाची पुनरावृत्ती करण्याची शक्यता आहे. २००७ ला मिरपूर कसोटीत भारताने बांगलादेशचा डाव ११८ धावात गुंडाळला होता. त्यापेक्षाही कमी धावात यावेळी बांगलादेशला गारद करण्यात आलं. पण यापेक्षा महत्त्वाचं म्हणजे तेव्हा भारताने ३ बाद ६१० धावा केल्या होत्या. २००७ च्या कसोटीत भारताचे दिग्गज खेळाडू दिनेश कार्तिक, वसिम जाफर, राहुल द्रविड आणि सचिन तेंडुलकर यांनी शतकी खेळी केली होती. २००७ ची कसोटी आणि पिंक बॉल कसोटीचं वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे त्यावेळीही वेगवान गोलंदाज झहीर खानने ५ विकेट्स घेतल्या होत्या. यावेळीही वेगवान गोलंदाजानेच ५ विकेट्स घेतल्या आणि निम्मा संघ एकट्या इशांत शर्मानेच माघारी धाडला. फोलोऑनची नामुष्की ओढावलेल्या बांगलादेशचा दुसरा डावही २५३ धावात आटोपला आणि भारताने २३९ धावांनी विजय मिळवला होता. ईडन गार्डन्स आणि विक्रम दिग्गजांच्या उपस्थितीत ऐतिहासिक कसोटीची सुरुवात झाली. ईडन गार्डन्सचं मैदान आणि भारतीय संघाचा विक्रम हे जुनं समीकरण आहे. २००१ ला भारत विरुद्ध ऑस्ट्रेलिया कसोटीत भारताचा पहिला डाव १७१ धावात आटोपला आणि फोलोऑनची नामुष्की ओढावली. कारण, ऑस्ट्रेलियाने पहिल्या डावात ४४५ धावा केल्या होत्या. पण दुसऱ्या डावात भारताची ‘द वॉल’ राहुल द्रविड आणि व्हीव्हीएस लक्ष्मण यांनी कमाल केली. राहुल द्रविडने १८० आणि लक्ष्मणने २८१ धावांची खेळी करत भारताला मजबूत स्थितीत आणलं. ऑस्ट्रेलियाला दुसऱ्या डावात विजयासाठी भारताने ३८४ धावांचं लक्ष्य ठेवलं होतं. पण ऑस्ट्रेलियाच्या पहिल्या डावात ७ विकेट्स घेणाऱ्या हरभजन सिंहने पुन्हा कमाल केली आणि दुसऱ्या डावातही ६ विकेट्स घेतल्या. सचिन तेंडुलकरनेही ३ विकेट्स घेतल्या आणि ऑस्ट्रेलियाचा दुसरा डाव २१२ धावात गुंडाळला. भारताने ही कसोटी १७१ धावांनी जिंकली होती.

'गुलाबी चेंडूनं खेळताना क्षेत्ररक्षण करणं कठीण जाईल. गुलाबी चेंडू वेगानं हातावर आदळतो. स्लिपमध्ये क्षेत्ररक्षण करताना मला याचा अनुभव आलाय. अर्थात, हा सामना खेळताना आम्हाला प्रेक्षकांचा पाठिंबा मिळेल. मैदानावरील दवबिंदू देखील सामन्यात महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावतात. दव कधी पडेल आणि कधी त्याचं प्रमाण जास्त असेल याचा काहीही नेम नसतो. अशा परिस्थितीत शेवटचं सत्र महत्त्वाचं असेल,' असं विराट म्हणाला. गेल्या काही वर्षांपासून बीसीसीआयनं कसोटी क्रिकेटला प्रोत्साहन देण्याची भूमिका घेतली आहे. क्रिकेटपटूंच्या करारातून ते स्पष्ट दिसतं. करार करताना बीसीसीआय कसोटीपटूंना झुकतं माप देतं,' असं विराटनं सांगितलं.

नवी दिल्ली : आगामी आयपीएल मोसमात आणखी एका नव्या संघाची एंट्री होऊ शकते. आयपीएलमध्ये एकूण दोन नव्या संघांच्या समावेशाची चर्चा असली तरी बीसीसीआय केवळ एकाच संघासाठी अनुकूल आहे. कारण, एकाच वेळी ९० पेक्षा जास्त सामन्याचं आयोजन करण्यासाठी पुरेशा विंडो उपलब्ध नाहीत. २०२२ पर्यंत ९ संघांसोबतच आयपीएल मालिका होऊ शकते. त्यानंतर आयसीसीच्या भविष्य दौरा कार्यक्रमावर आधारित निर्णय घेतला जाईल, अशी माहिती सूत्रांनी दिली. आयसीसीच्या भविष्य दौरा कार्यक्रमामुळे बीसीसीआयला फक्त ९ संघांची परवानगी मिळू शकते, ज्यात एकूण ७६ सामने खेळले जातील. यासाठी सध्याची विंडो वाढवली जाऊ शकते. सूत्रांच्या माहितीनुसार, ‘जोपर्यंत २०२३ मध्ये नवीन भविष्य दौरा कार्यक्रम येत नाही, तोपर्यंत आयपीएलमध्ये फक्त ९ संघच चांगल्या पद्धतीने खेळू शकतात.’ दुसरं मोठं कारण म्हणजे बीसीसीआय नव्या फ्रँचायझीसाठी ३०० मिलियन डॉलर म्हणजे जवळपास २००० कोटी रुपयांच्या बेस प्राइसबाबत विचार करत आहे. एकाच ठिकाणाहून या प्रकारची गुंतवणूक येईल का याबाबतचं चित्र अद्याप अस्पष्ट आहे. सूत्रांच्या मते, ‘गुंतवणूकदार आहेतच, तो मुद्दा नाही. पण टेबलवर आवश्यक खरेदीदार येतील का, जिथे बोली लावणं प्रतिस्पर्धी प्रक्रिया होईल. यावरच ठरवलं जाईल.’ आयपीएलमध्ये गुजरातचा संघ? ‘टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया’च्या वृत्तानुसार, तिसरं कारण म्हणजे अहमदाबादच्या मोटेरा स्टेडिअममध्ये सरदार पटेल स्टेडिअम तयार होत आहे. हे मैदान सामन्यांसाठी मार्च २०२० पर्यंत उपलब्ध होऊ शकतं. १.१ लाख प्रेक्षक बसण्याची क्षमता असलेलं हे जगातलं सर्वात मोठं स्टेडिअम असणार आहे. त्यामुळे या मैदानाची स्वतःची फ्रँचायझी नसण्याला अर्थ उरत नाही. जाणकारांच्या मते, ‘अहमदाबादमध्ये क्रिकेटसाठी आणि उपलब्ध संसाधने लक्षात घेता नवीन फ्रँचायझी येऊ शकते. त्यामुळे फ्रँचायझीसाठी नवीन टेंडर आलं तर स्वाभाविकपणे अनेक जण याच्या बाजूने असतील आणि भविष्यात यामुळे काही मानके निश्चित होतील.’ बीसीसीआयसमोर इतरही प्रश्न बीसीसीआयकडे १० व्या फ्रँचायझींचा समावेश करण्यापूर्वी इतरही अनेक मुद्दे आहेत. कोची टस्कर्सचाही बीसीसीआयसमोर प्रश्न आहे, ज्याला १५०० कोटी रुपये देणं (मध्यस्थाद्वारे) आहे. आयपीएलमधून बाहेर झालेल्या डेक्कन चार्जर्ससोबत आयसीआयसीआयच्या नेतृत्त्वात मध्यस्थता अंतिम टप्प्यात आहे. आणखी एक मध्यस्थता पुण्याच्या सहारा वॉरियर्ससोबतही आहे. सूत्रांच्या माहितीनुसार, ‘कोची टस्कर्सला पैसे किंवा मताधिकाराचा पर्याय दिला जाईल का हा प्रश्न आहे. भलेही बीसीसीआय काही बाबतीत बॅकफूटवर आहे आणि काही बाबतीत मजबूत आहे, पण तरीही कायदेशीर प्रक्रिया सुरू आहे आणि त्याला योग्य पद्धतीने हाताळणंच योग्य आहे.’ यावर १ डिसेंबरला होणाऱ्या सर्वसाधारण बैठकीत निर्णय होण्याची शक्यता आहे. यावर्षी खेळलेले ८ संघ आतापर्यंत आयपीएलच्या १२ एडिशन खेळल्या गेल्या आहेत. ज्यात चॅम्पियन मुंबई इंडियन्ससह चेन्नई सुपरकिंग्ज, रॉयल चॅलेंजर्स बंगळुरू, दिल्ली कॅपिटल्स, सनरायझर्स हैदराबाद, कोलकाता नाईट रायडर्स, राजस्थान रॉयल्स आणि किंग्ज इलेव्हन पंजाब यांचा समावेश आहे.

Sebi tightens disclosure norms on loan defaults
Markets regulator Sebi on Wednesday approved stricter disclosure norms for listed companies on loan defaults and revised its regulations for portfolio managers as well as for rights issue of shares. Sebi also extended the Business Responsibility Report (BRR) requirement to top 1,000 companies, from 500 currently.
