Uddhav is set to lead the Shiv Sena-Nationalist Congress Party-Congress alliance government, called Maha Vikas Aghadi, in Maharashtra. This is also the first time that the Shiv Sena, a regional party founded in 1966 by Uddhav's father Balasaheb Thackeray, is joining hands with the Congress and the NCP.
