The Union government's move to transfer the probe of the Koregaon-Bhima violence case to the NIA has triggered a war of words. While Fadnavis called the move appropriate, NCP chief Sharad Pawar alleged that probe was transferred fearing the fact that fresh investigation by Maharashtra government would expose dubious actions of the previous BJP-led dispensation.
