Delhi's Tis Hazari Court on Tuesday slammed the Delhi Police saying that people can carry out peaceful protests anywhere, including outside religious places. The court also said that people were protesting at Jama Masjid and not in Pakistan. The court was hearing bail plea of Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad who was arrested from Jama Masjid area during a demonstration against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.
