Almost the entire country was in lockdown after the government imposed restrictions in 606 districts. In several states, lockdown took the shape of curfews as thee people were not adhering to the guidelines imposed by the administrations. The count of coronavirus cases in the country stood close to 500, with 498 cases reported so far by the states.
