UGC on Thursday will notify the new four-year-undergraduate programme (FYUP) and the revised PhD regulations. The FYUP of 160 credits will replace the present three-year choice based credit system (CBCS) at UG level and enable students to directly join PhD programmes on completion of the four-year degree programmes.
