Though there is no official confirmation or denial of a meeting between top intelligence officers and detained J&K leaders Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti, Omar’s National Conference rubbished such reports. PDP sources, however, said that some “govt officials” did meet the two leaders and asked them to help in the restoration of normalcy upon their release.
