While the government remains disappointed that Sri Lanka reneged on an agreement with India and Japan to develop the East Container Terminal (ECT) at the Colombo port, it sees as a ``useful step’’ Lanka’s decision to enter into a $ 700 million deal with the Adani group for developing another terminal at the same port.
