Moments after the statement from the ICC came on Wednesday evening, announcing that Shashank Manohar will be stepping down from the chair, his long-time adversary N Srinivasan called the development “good riddance”. Srinivasan called out his former colleague’s move to leave the BCCI in the middle of a crisis and heading to the ICC in 2015 “a selfish decision".
