The Samajwadi Party on Monday fielded sacked BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi Lok Sabha seat. Yadav was dismissed in 2017 after he posted a video online complaining about the food served to the troops. The party had earlier named Shalini Yadav as its candidate for the Varanasi constituency.
