IIM-Bangalore has sought to add 425 seats while IIM-Ahmedabad wants to increase its intake by 380 seats. If the proposal is given a heads-up, IIM-B will have 1,646 students against its present 1,221. IIM-Indore with 1,907 students is the biggest in terms of intake.
