Government data showed that since the Centre reduced excise duty, Leh had seen the sharpest reduction in petrol (Rs 13.43 a litre) and diesel (Rs 19.61 a litre) prices. Among the bigger cities, Bangalore topped the list with petrol and diesel prices falling by Rs 13.35 and Rs 19.49 a litre. The Centre noted that 14 states, including major opposition-ruled ones are among those that are yet to lower their levies.

Anil Deshmukh questioned; son to appear before ED too

CBSE to evaluate OMR-sheets on exam day, at centres

CBSE has finalised the all new OMR-sheet for its Term-1 MCQ-based 90-minute Board exams to commence from November 16, 2021. आबुधाबी : भारतीय संघाने महत्वाच्या सामन्यात अफगाणिस्तानवर दणदणीत विजय साकारला. या दमदार विजयासह भारतीय संघाला एक मोठी आनंदाची बातीम मिळाली आहे. भारतीय संघाला कोणती आनंदाची बातमी मिळाली, पाहा... दोन पराभवांमुळे भारताचा रनरेट हा -१६०९ असा होता आणि भारतीय संघ नामिबियाच्या खाली पाचव्या स्थानावर होता. पण आजच्या सामन्यात मोठा विजय मिळवल्यामुळे भारताच्या रनरेटमध्ये चांगलीच वाढ झाली आहे. अफगाणिस्तानवर ६६ धावांनी विजय मिळवल्यामुळे भारताचा रनरेट आता +०.०७३ एवढा सुधारला आहे. भारत आणि न्यूझीलंड यांच्यातील रनरेटमध्ये आता जास्त फरक राहीलेला नाही. आता यापुढे भारताला फक्त विजय मिळवून चालणार नाही तर त्यांना आपला रनरेटही वाढवावा लागणार आहे. भारतीय त्या दिशेने हे महत्वाचे पाऊल टाकल्याचे पाहायला मिळत आहे. भारताची आता स्पर्धा न्यूझीलंडबरोबर आहे. आज न्यूझीलंडचा सामना स्कॉटलंडबरोबर होता. स्कॉटलंडसारख्या कच्च्या संघाला न्यूझीलंड मोठ्या फरकाने पराभूत करून आपला रनरेट वाढवेल, असे सर्वांनाच वाटत होते. पण न्यूझीलंडला या सामन्यात १६ धावांनी विजय मिळवता आला आणि त्यांनी आपला रनरेट वाढवण्याची नामी संधी गमावल्याचे पाहायला मिळाले. न्यूझीलंडने या सामन्यात प्रथम फलंदाजी करताना १७२ धावा केल्या होत्या आणि त्यांनी स्कॉटलंडला १५६ धावांमध्ये रोखले होते. त्यामुळे त्यांना या सामन्यात रनरेट वाढवता आला नाही. पण भारतीय संघाने मात्र या विश्वचषकातील पहिल्या विजयाची नोंद करताना आपला रनरेटही वाढवलेला आहे. त्यामुळे आता उपांत्य फेरीच्या दिशेने भारतीय संघाने एक ठोस पाऊल टाकले आहे. आता भारताचे अजून दोन सामने बाकी आहेत. भारताचे हे सामने स्कॉटलंड आणि नामिबीयाबरोबर होणार आहेत. त्यामुळे भारताला य दोन्ही संघावर फक्त विजय मिळवून चालणार नाही, तर रन रेट वाढवण्यासाठी त्यांना मोठा विजय मिळवावा लागणार आहे. त्यामुळे आगामी दोन्ही सामन्यांमध्ये भारतीय संघ किती मोठ्या फरकाने विजय साकारतो, याकडे सर्वांचे लक्ष लागलेले असेल.
