Lok Sabha results: Why SP-BSP-RLD alliance failed to click in UP

A comparison of vote share between 2019 Lok Sabha and 2017 UP assembly elections shows that while BJP’s vote share shot up by 8% this year, it dipped significantly for SP, BSP, and RLD which had struck a pre-poll alliance.
