The Enforcement Directorate on Monday attached properties and bank balances worth over Rs 8 crore belonging to Atiq Ahmad, a mafia don and former Samajwadi Party MP and his wife in a money laundering case. The don, who is also five-time MLA from Allahabad, is currently lodged in Sabarmati jail, Gujarat.
