Court sets free Dalit scholar ‘held illegally’

Anand Teltumbde, a professor and writer on Dalit issues, was named as an accused in the Elgar Parishad case for alleged links with the banned CPI (Maoist). It is the police’s claim that Maoists were behind the Elgar Parishad held in Pune on December 31, 2017.
