The grandmother and father of a newborn male baby were arrested for burning it alive in Sankarankovil town in Tenkasi district in the wee hours of Wednesday. Passersby were shocked to see the half-burnt body of a baby on the premises of a theatre on Railway Feeder Road after they put out flames they saw there around 4 am.
