A high net worth family charter an Indian carrier’s Airbus A320 to fly just four people — wife, two children and a nanny — to Delhi. A Delhi-Mumbai-Delhi charter would cost about Rs 16-18 lakh. In another instance, a family of three had hired a wide-body aircraft to fly from Europe to India on May 21. That trip is learnt to have cost about Rs 80 lakh.
